Eurovet to focus on lingerie, swimwear & fast fashion biz

Eurovet, a leading organiser of trade fairs for the lingerie, swimwear and fast fashion sectors in France and world-wide, has held its 24.5% stake in Première Vision since 2007.

“This investment has been highly rewarding over the past few years,” comments Marie-Laure Bellon, CEO of Eurovet. “However, we have now entered a new development phase and wish to focus on our core businesses, to ensure we are in a strong position for further expansion in our key markets of lingerie, swimwear and fast fashion.

We will continue to work closely with Première Vision, through our trade fair Zoom by Fatex. This is a tradeonly event for fashion apparel manufacturing in the Euromed region, which takes place twice yearly, in February and September, alongside other trade fairs run by Première Visions Pluriels: Mod'Amont, Le Cuir à Paris, Indigo, Expo'Fil and Première Vision.”

Eurovet is 51% owned by La Fédération de la Maille et de la Lingerie, and 49% owned by Comexposium. It organises 16 trade fairs a year specialising in lingerie, swimwear, fast fashion and sportswear, in Paris, Lyon, Shanghai and Hong Kong, and since 2008 in New York and Las Vegas, via its 30% stake in the US company Curvexpo.
