Technical marine sportswear brand Musto is set to dramatically broaden its reach following the release of its eagerly anticipated 2011 autumn/winter collection, due to hit stores next month.

Having undergone a comprehensive revamp during the Northern Hemisphere's spring/summer, the latest offering from the popular brand features a host of subtle design innovations aimed at ensuring Australians of all ages get the most our of their garment on and off the water.

The new season also sees a host of new product offerings added to the Evolution mix. New to the range for 2011 is the Evolution windstopper insulated jacket and gilet with wadding. Available in both men's and women's styles, the jacket features handwarmed pockets and in-breast pocket with a scooped hem. Showerproof, windproof and warm, the gilet boasts splash proof and windproof zips and is constructed from Musto's unique easy care and fast dry fabrications.

Another new addition to the Evolution stable for A/W 2011 is the long coat and waffle fleece. The three-quarter length coat, constructed from Gore-Tex's unique two-layer performance fabric, features a front zip with storm flap, zip off hood, inner pocket and articulated elbows, providing the ultimate protection for both casual and formal use.

Utilising Polartec's unique fabrication, the waffle fleece has a short front zip with rollover chin guard with lycra hem and cuff trims. Featuring cover stitch detailing throughout, it is the obvious choice for all shore-based requirements.

Based around a colour palette of black, white, navy, summer red, aqua and titanium, sizes for Musto Evolution's A/W 2011 collection range from S to XXL for men and from 8 to 18 for women.

Available from leading boutiques and ship chandleries across Australia and New Zealand, the new range will hit stores from February 2011.

Established in 1965 by British Olympic sailing medalist Keith Musto, the Musto brand has revolutionised the technical outdoor clothing sector. In recent years Musto has also added equestrian, shooting, and corporate and fashion arms to its core range.
