ESPN's famed sports broadcaster, Good Morning America correspondent and Dancing with the Stars tenth season finalist Erin Andrews has become the first female featured in Reebok's ZigTech campaign. Andrews' TV, print and online campaign was shot in LA and featured the sports sensation running and training in ZigTech footwear and apparel. The campaign will kick off XX.
“I'm very excited to be the first female to become part of Reebok's ZigTech campaign, joining superstars like Peyton Manning, Sidney Crosby, John Wall, Chad Ochocinco, and many more,” said Andrews. “I have been athletic all my life, and I'm thrilled to be working out in the same footwear and apparel that helps these athletes perform at the top of their game.”
“Erin Andrews is the perfect fit for our women's ZigTech footwear and apparel collection because she is a passionate sports and fitness enthusiast who is inspirational to women nationwide,” said Reebok's Head of Women's for the US, Kristen Olson. “It takes extreme energy to be Erin, and Zig technology is just what she needs for working out.”
Currently at retail, Reebok's ZigTech footwear allows your key leg muscles to do less, so you can do more. Simply put, it's like an energy drink for your feet. ZigTech utilizes a unique zig-zag geometry designed to deliver energy transfer more efficiently along the length of the shoe, resulting in enhanced feel and comfort. The increased energy return may also help reduce the chance of shin splints.
Debuting in March 2011, Reebok's ZigTech apparel utilizes Celliant fibers woven into the apparel to increase oxygen levels in the body. This increased oxygen helps give the athletes more energy for sport and life.
