J.Lindeberg, the premium apparel brand that bridges fashion and function, has re-signed leading PGA Tour player Camilo Villegas. Villegas will continue to be the primary ambassador for J.Lindeberg's golf collection for another four years. Additionally, and starting already in 2011, Villegas will again be wearing J.Lindeberg's iconic belts.

"I started wearing J.Lindeberg even before I joined the PGA tour and I am very happy that I will continue to do so. I love J.Lindeberg's fashionable functionality. J.Lindeberg helps me look impeccable both on and off the course," says Camilo Villegas.

J.Lindeberg's "Camilo Villegas Selection," which consists of special edition pieces that are promoted and worn by Villegas, will soon start to reach retailers with its fourth collection (SS2011) since the launch in 2009. Villegas, who regularly supports J.Lindeberg with product development and testing will continue to do so over the course of the whole extension period.

"Camilo has established himself as a top athlete in global golf. He is elegant, professional, and he shares our passion for golf and golf-wear. He has the same mindset when it comes to his game as we have when it comes to our products – to always strive for improvement. As such we could not wish for a better ambassador for J.Lindeberg than Camilo Villegas," says Global Brand Director Stefan Engstrom.

"2010 was a strong year for the J.Lindeberg brand as we grew our business significantly in the US and continued to deliver the finest quality products to the top accounts in the industry. Our continuing relationship with Camilo represents this commitment and to the best of the qualities of the game," says J.Lindeberg USA CEO Colin Dyne.

Since its first collection in 1997, J.Lindeberg has successfully combined fashion and sportswear. The Company's main collection and its progressive golf and ski collections are sold in more than 30 countries world-wide.
