First-ever TECHFIT PowerWeb jersey for NBA All-Stars

adidas, the official uniform provider for the National Basketball Association, unveils the new uniform design and innovation for the 60th NBA All-Star in Los Angeles.
The NBA All-Star uniforms are inspired by the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and, for the first time ever, NBA All-Stars have the option to wear an adidas TECHFIT PowerWeb compression jersey. TECHFIT is the only sports compression apparel proven to help improve a player's performance on the court.
“Los Angeles is an exciting convergence of sports, style and entertainment unlike any other place in the world,” said Lawrence Norman, adidas Vice President, Global Basketball. “Our latest on-court uniform design and innovation, as well as our off-court footwear and apparel, celebrate the city and the game of basketball. NBA All-Star is the premiere event for adidas to showcase our innovation on basketball's biggest stage and how our products make the best athletes in the world stronger, lighter and faster.”
The new NBA All-Star TECHFIT jersey features strategically placed Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) powerbands that align core muscles and boost power to key muscle groups for more efficient movement that increases acceleration and endurance. The compression fits improves movement by preventing opposing players from grabbing loose jersey fabric and slowing them down.
The new NBA All-Star uniform design pays homage to Hollywood with big bold block typeface inspired by the Hollywood sign, and the East and West team names featuring the Los Angeles skyline embossed in the lettering to further recognize the city.
