Egypt's largest apparel exporter, Arafa Holding, recently revealed that all its production units have resumed their operations.
According to the company sources, the operations of the company's Goldentex facilities located in the outer reaches of Cairo at Ramadan area had been suspended for a period of six days starting from January 29 to February 3. However, the company kept its other production units open for two weeks during the political unrest.
In a statement issued by the company, it has been revealed that the company is looking forward to a shipment lag of around one week mainly because of the disruption that took place in transportation of goods last week owing to the political turmoil.
Further, the company is pleased to inform that the commodity shipments by air as well as sea have been started from February 5.
