Philippe has completed some of the most challenging ultra distance and trail running races in the world – not only does he know a huge amount about what products work on the trail, he can also put new gear through some very extended and extremely rigorous testing.
New developments for autumn/winter 2011 include the introduction of Gore-Tex Active Shell to Trail Sports. Active Shell is ideal for high aerobic trail sports and Berghaus has used it in the minimalist men's and women's Rapide jackets, providing heavy duty waterproof performance with a very light touch, at only 219g (men's size large).
