Under a newly signed agreement, Quad/Graphics will print the majority of L.L.Bean's catalogs through 2014. The agreement, which continues the partnership launched in 2008, takes effect in January 2012 and covers all of L.L.Bean's Men's, Women's, Kids', Signature, Direct to Business and core prospecting catalogs.

Under separate agreements, Quad/Graphics continues to provide 100 percent of the legendary Maine marketer's prepress work as well as 100 percent of its studio photography for all product lines in print and web/e-commerce.

“Print has always been an essential element of L.L.Bean's marketing approach and continues to be in today's multichannel marketplace,” said Nancy Dynan, L.L.Bean Vice President of Corporate Marketing. “Our renewed partnership ensures the L.L.Bean brand will continue to have the support of Quad/Graphics' advanced print capabilities and services, and will benefit from Quad/Graphics' ongoing commitment to innovation.”

“L.L.Bean is everything a leading multichannel marketer must be in order to succeed in today's highly competitive marketplace,” said Joel Quadracci, Quad/Graphics Chairman, President & CEO. “Few companies can claim a full century of growth and success. All of us at Quad/Graphics are proud to be supporting the L.L.Bean success story.”

Added Mr. Quadracci: “We share L.L.Bean's focus on innovation, high-quality products and achieving 100 percent customer satisfaction. L.L.Bean sets the bar high for their business partners and Quad/Graphics employees are up to the challenge of providing top quality and customer service. Our extensive multichannel services and capabilities, from our state-of-the-art gravure technology to our advanced co-mailing capabilities, will continue to bring the power of print to the partnership, today and into the future.”
