Streambank, LLC, the leader in providing intangible asset disposition services, will be conducting an auction of the Anchor Blue trademarks, domains, and related intellectual property on March 3rd 2011 in New York. Anchor Blue Inc. has filed a motion with the Delaware Bankruptcy Court seeking approval of the sale of its intellectual property.

The assets include the Anchor Blue and Miller's Outpost trademarks and related domain names as well as private label fragrance brands and the company's social media sites and databases. The hearing to approve the sale is scheduled for March 7, 2011.

As of December 31, 2010, Anchor Blue operated 115 stores in 9 states located in the Western United States. Anchor Blue store locations average approximately 6,300 square feet and are primarily located in high traffic malls and power centers. Anchor Blue is best known for its high quality and unmatched assortment of private labeled denim, graphic tees, intimate apparel, fragrances and related accessories. www.anchorblue.com

The $12 billion U.S. jeanswear market represents one of the largest categories of apparel purchases, accounting for 12% of total apparel purchases and Anchor Blue occupies a unique position in this market on the fashion vs. price spectrum offering high quality, fashion-current merchandise for both young men and juniors at affordable prices. Most of Anchor Blue's competitors' offerings are either higher priced and/or feature more classic or extreme fashions.

Anchor Blue's value proposition is specifically targeted to its moderate income teen and young adult customer and it has developed considerable brand loyalty in this group. Additionally, the Anchor Blue brand has strong recognition among Hispanic Americans, the fastest growing population segment in the U.S., and a key West Coast demographic.
