Danish retailer Bestseller gung-ho on Ireland

Bestseller, a Danish clothing retailer is planning expansion in Northern Ireland and is thus looking for 30 locations where it can set up its new outlets. This expansion when completed will help the retailer to touch a store count of 97.
The expansion is likely to generate over 200 employment opportunities for people across Ireland.
The retailer already endorses five reputed brands including Only, Vero Moda, Jack & Jones and Vila, and vends these brands in its 67 outlets in north as well as south Ireland.
Bestseller is now planning expansion in Northern Ireland and will add maternity clothes retailer - Mama-Licious and Pieces label to its offerings.
It intends to set up at the most four outlets in Northern Ireland, which would generate around 25-30 job opportunities.
The group has engaged retail property consultants to acquire premises where it can set up its new outlets. As these new outlets start operations, new job opportunities would come about over the next 12 to 18 months.
Retail hubs in Londonderry, Belfast and Newry will be potential sites for Bestseller's expansion.
