Reliance Brands Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary of Reliance Retail Limited, recently announced plans to add 37 new stores to its already existing network of 18 stores, thus raising the total number of outlets to 55 by close of the current year.

These new outlets would form a part of the company's network of several high-end apparel and footwear brands in the country.

The company now operates outlets under brands like Paul & Shark, Zegna, Diesel, Quicksilver, Steve, Timberland and Madden.

The company holds dealership agreements with most of the brands, except with Diesel, Zegna and Paul & Shark with which it has joint venture agreements.

Further, the subsidiary is also surveying the possibilities of investing in fashion brands from India, and also come up with its own brands.

The company presently has its outlets in nine cities including Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Ludhiana, Pune, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Kolkata.

However, the company's plan to enter into a joint venture agreement with Italy's Miss Sixty could not take off.
