Woolrich, the Original Outdoor Clothing Company, has been recognized by Cabela's for excellence in supply chain management with the Supply Chain Vendor of the Year award. Woolrich was presented the award during a recent awards ceremony at Cabela's Sidney, Nebraska headquarters.

"Supply chain management is often the unsung hero of successful companies, and we're proud that our team's performance stood out above all of Cabela's vendors," said Jim Griggs, Woolrich Inc. President.

Woolrich was recognized for excellence in supply chain management over Cabela's forty five hundred vendors. Cabela's, the world's largest direct marketer, of hunting, fishing, camping and related outdoor merchandise, selects its Supply Chain Vendor of the Year based on a number of criteria including flow through, on-time shipping, and shipping completion. In all three categories Woolrich scored in the mid-ninety percentile, including a 99.8 percent rating for flow through.

"Woolrich is truly an exemplary partner who exceeded our customers' expectations," said Pat Wilson, Cabela's Director of Supply Chain Services. "Over the past year, Woolrich not only shipped the right product in a timely manner, but did so with limited handling on our end at all points of the supply chain."

Griggs presented the Cabela's Supply Chain Vendor of the Year award statuette to the Woolrich Operations staff at the Woolrich Mill during a ceremony yesterday, Wednesday March 23, 2011.
