Garnet Hill, a leading multichannel purveyor of quality women's apparel, children's clothing and home decor, announces the launch of a women's yogawear line on its website and in the pages of its catalog for Summer 2011. A chic collection of lucy activewear, including pants, tees, tanks and layering pieces, will be featured in the new line.

"We love lucy because their styles perfectly balance fashion and function. Each piece promotes movement and meets our discerning standards while suiting our sense of style," says Sarah Soster, Garnet Hill Product Manager. "Lucy activewear takes you from yoga studio to coffee shop and home again, while helping you look and feel your best."

Using a mix of high-tech fabrics and precise fits created with a stylist's eye, lucy has a knack for design, color and feminine details. Not your average black knit pants, lucy yoga bottoms are known for their fit. Fans rave that just putting on a pair of lucy pants inspires you to work out!

"Yoga is part of our customers' active lifestyle," says VP of Merchandising Joanne Mogren. "As a brand, we want Garnet Hill to be a complete shopping experience for them. Stylish yogawear is a natural complement to our collection."

Lucy activewear designs and sells fashion-forward performance apparel for athletic women. Over the past ten years, the lucy brand has grown from lucy.com, an online-only retailer, to a national bricks-and-mortar chain operating 61 stores. In August of 2007, VF Corporation, a global leader in lifestyle branded apparel, completed its acquisition of lucy activewear, inc. As a result, lucy is now a wholly owned subsidiary of VF Corporation.

Renowned for superior quality, fine fibers and original design, Garnet Hill has offered distinctive merchandise and services of the highest caliber since 1976. The company began as an importer of English flannel sheets and has grown into a distinguished brand and multichannel marketer, offering unique bedding and home furnishings, women's apparel and children's clothing online and in its catalogs.
