Douglas Henricksen, the owner and inventor of many girls' sports accessories had teamed with Flexsystems owner, Diane Chapman. Together, they have created Athletic Girl Apparel. And Flexsystems, a USA Manufacturer of promotional products, custom plastic molded products and custom labels will be making the custom and stock items for much of the Athletic Girl line.

Mr. Henricksen has a patent on his most popular items for girls' sports. The sports sleeve holder has a micro adjust dual lock closure technology that is patented. US Patent number 7,039,958. This part is made at the Flexsystems plant and has a lovely vanilla scent added to it. The stock designs are basketball, soccer, cheerleading, All Star, tennis, fast pitch, softball and volleyball. If a team would like their name on the Sports Pro Sleeve Holder as well as the athlete's name, this can be done. This particular sports accessory plays an important functions role. The sleeves of many uniforms can get in the player's way. This USA made sleeve holder prevents this from happening. And in terms of fashion, a wide variety of popular colors are available.

Headbands are huge in girls' sports. This new "button" headband is not only stretchy and fits the head; it also does not slip and fall off. The colors available and designs for the buttons mean each band can be unique to the individual. From sport buttons to animal buttons to mood and lifestyle buttons. Flexsystems invented this new band due to the demand for good looking and functional athletic headbands. And if the athlete would like to order for the team, the bands can be imprinted with the team name, mascot, player name or whatever slogan they would like.

Matching the button design is the new button wristband. A novel idea by Flexsystems, it is a 3D molded band made in the USA. It has the same stock sport buttons as the button hairband as well as the lifestyle and animal buttons. Teams often create their own custom button and the detail in the small area is quite impressive. Mix and match the wristband and the headbands for unique fashion statements. Many teams have tired of the silicone Live Strong band and wanted something more unique and personalized. And this is where the button wristband slots in.

While girl's athletic teams are always looking for items to sell for fundraising purposes, these particular items are fast movers. The price points are reasonable and the design and colors mean most people will buy several. Easy to sell, these products help to fund away games, new uniforms and other necessary needs that school budgets cannot cover.

Girls' sports accessories are a staple product category and one that most sporting goods stores carry year around. Try them out and see for yourself.
