Feridax, the UK's largest independent, value-added distributor and brand marketer into the motorcycle clothing and hard parts channels, have announced the launch of their new 2011 own-brand Spada Clothing range. The launch is supported by a vibrant new brochure, an updated website and a programme of striking print and digital advertising, with much more planned across the year.

The 2011 Spada range offers something for everyone, from the safety-minded to the fashion conscious rider, no matter what their budget. In fact, you can kit yourself out from head-to-toe with complete peace of mind from a range that includes:

• Jackets – New for 2011, the Mod inspired Target Parka and the cool retro lines of the Energy Jacket
• One-piece Suits – On track for success with a broad range that has been rigorously tested and then tested again
• Violator Helmets – Top quality, funky graphics or vibrant plain colours on our new MX helmet for less than £100.
• Gloves – You have to hand it to the Spada design team, our award winning glove range is definitely worth clapping about!
• Boots – Our ST1 and Predator boots have already received plaudits from some big name magazines

From a communications point of view, expect to see a lot more of the Spada brand across 2011 and into the new-year, as there's a lot happening, including:

• The 2011 Brochure – More than just another brochure, ours details the broad range, but also takes a look at the sheer joy of 'rider lifestyles'
• The Spada Website – A deep, information rich site that tells you everything you need to know about the entire range and more: www.spadaclothing.co.uk
• Press Advertising & Reviews – Look out for our vibrant print ads this year as we continue to spread the Spada word...
• "Must Try Spada!" – A cross media campaign giving the public the chance to be one of our product testers!

The Feridax View:

“Our new 2011 range of Spada Clothing and accessories, has taken our consistently improving range to the next level of cool styling, comfort and essential rider protection.” Commented Mark Ingleby, Marketing Manager of Feridax “We're now into a second year of the re-brand of the Spada brand and will continue to grow the presence throughout the media. Core to the Spada ethos is the belief that biking is a pleasure and our new brochure and updated website is all about that, and we have a few special things planned for the year ahead, including something for the aspiring product tester out there”

Launched in 1993, Spada is a motorcycle apparel brand designed by British riders for British riders. Owned by Feridax, a company that has been involved with motorcycle clothing and accessories for the past 53 years, the Spada design team is housed at its Halesowen (West Midlands) headquarters and is constantly listening to the wants and needs of riders to organically grow the brand.
