koi debuts Zara Scrub Pant in colorful summer collection

Leading apparel design and manufacturing company, koi design, LLC (koi), dubbed by industry professionals as “The Home of Designer Scrubs,” released a new fashion-forward pant in their women's line as part of the 2011 summer collection. This female-focused design features a flat front and flared leg style with a modern cut and contemporary look. The new Zara pant and summer collection is available in stores now.

The pant is crafted from koi's signature cotton blend and is offered in a wide array of colors, perfect for the summer season. koi's hallmark style is featured on the new pant, including additional pockets, side zipper entry and an elastic waistband for added comfort and functionality.

“Enhancing our summer collection with the Zara pant furthers our desire to make fashion-forward scrubs functional and easy to wear,” said Kathy Peterson, koi founder and president. “The Zara pant is a perfect example of how our chic and practical design is changing medical apparel so that medical professionals can enjoy personal expression, style and comfort with their everyday wardrobe.”

The koi scrub pant features a slim fit cut through the waist, seat and thighs, delivering a sleek and modern look. The contemporary style includes back elastic, side zipper, multiple pockets, and a figure-flattering waistline without the bulge of a drawstring.

In addition to the Zara pant, koi's newest venture with Marc Ecko Enterprises, marks the company's further expansion into non-traditional fashion-oriented designs.
