Lukkhy Group, the producer of casual shirt brand “Aadians” has recently inaugurated its new garment production factory in Thane in Maharashtra.
The new plant houses an annual production capacity of 1.2 million pieces of garments, following which the firm's overall capacity has gone up to 2.4 million clothing units per year.
The new plant is likely to start operating at its optimum level within next two to three months.
The firm has developed a growth plan to become country's leading garment producer and exporter over next five years with a ten-fold rise in revenues.
It is now getting ready to outpace the industrial growth in next few years and aims to cross Rs 10 billion in turnover in five years.
This fiscal itself, the firm is expected to exceed a turnover of one billion rupees.
The Group, as a part of its development plan for the current year, is eyeing to link up with various retailers to raise the sales of its casual shirt brand “Aadians”.
The company proposes to launch some new brands during the current year to boost its market share in branded garments segment, as it has already prepared to establish itself as a major player in branded garments segment with a higher market share, in forthcoming years.
