Taiwan-based Les Enphants Co. Ltd., a company that caters to the clothing needs of children, will be opening another 300 new outlets in China by close of the current year to take the total number of its outlets in China to 3,000.

The company is expecting its total turnover from its Chinese operations to rise at a year-on-year rate of 20 percent during 2011, due to its opening of new outlets and the rising consumption in the mainland.

The firm has revealed that over 100 new stores under the project have already become functional even before the scheduled dates. The majority of the new outlets would be based in coastal towns like Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Besides the current project, the company is considering to launch a new economical product line in China next year, in order to widen its consumer base.

Les Enphants started establishing its foothold in mainland China in 1993 and is now involved in the distribution of a number of international children's wear brands in the country. These include New Balance Kids, Peter Rabbit, Disney Baby and Barbie.
