Apparel Group to bring three popular brands at DCC

Under the current redevelopment plans of Dubai's popular mall, Deira City Centre, the Apparel Group has confirmed that it will open the largest Aldo internationally, in addition to the region's largest Aeropostale store. Nine West will also reopen a 1600sq ft leading store once the redevelopment is complete.

On opening, the 5000 sqft flagship Aldo outlet will be the largest internationally. It will comprise 30 carefully mapped out and unique areas within the store that will house its famous shoe collections along with its growing accessories business which includes handbags, wallets, watches, sunglasses and much more!

Nine West will also re-open a 1600 sqft store, which when unveiled will reveal a totally new concept for the brand. Due to the success of the brand in the mall, Nine West will relocate to a larger space under the ongoing redevelopment plans. The new concept NINE WEST store will provide a unique shopping environment never experienced before.

Additionally, Aeropostale, a specialty retailer of casual apparel and accessories aimed at the youth market, will launch its largest store anywhere in the GCC region, or outside of North America. The Deira City Centre store will be unique in its design & architecture and will pay pays homage to Aeropostale's heritage, and its New York City roots. The store will have T-shirt Shop resonates with the SoHo downtown urbanites. The store will also have flair of historical elements of New York's Public Library.

Launch of the new stores at Deira City Centre is part of our growth strategy and will enhance our concentration at this leading shopping destination."

“The redevelopment initiative really takes into consideration the expansion plans for some of the most popular brands we offer at Deira City Centre. It will also make way for us to further enhance what is an already very popular retail mix,” said Deira City Centre Vice President Fuad Al Najjar.

Redevelopment enhancements include an expansion initiative which will recreate an additional 30,000 square feet of new retail space, renovation and addition of 55 new stores. Further elements of Deira City Centre's enhancement include a new entrance from the Metro Station, new prayer room, redevelopment of the current Jewellery and Textile Courts, and the introduction of a new bridge link to enhance the traffic circulation in the mall and offer new lifestyle services and amenities.
