Reliance Retail, the retailing arm of RIL, is yet to announce the name of the portal or the date of the launch. The e-commerce site has already been beta launched on an invite-only basis, and its commercial launch is expected in the coming months.
The first fashion and apparel portal of RIL will sell 60 per cent of the company's products, and will house the largest collection of private labels for women.
The announcement comes in the wake of the launch of e-commerce portal by Aditya Birla Group and an upcoming launch by the Tata Group to make the most of the growing e-commerce industry in the country. (MCJ)
