Spreadshirt launches new business unit TeamShirts

TeamShirts is specifically aimed at the increasing number of group purchasers like school and sports teams, organisations buying for employee events, and stag and hen parties. The prices and services are personalised especially for these target groups.

Elmar Kühn, director at TeamShirts explains, “The launch of the TeamShirts brand is the answer to two major trends we are seeing in the market, which at first might seem contradictory but complement each other symbiotically. Firstly, the individualisation and personal expression through clothing and accessories, and secondly, the growing need for people to feel connected and part of a group. This new offering combines both.”

The brand's new website will exhibit intuitive technology designed for the ease of placing group orders, with features like adding player names and numbers, saving drafts and sharing options for groups to edit items together, and vote on products.

Spreadshirt was founded in 2002, and is currently active in 19 markets with production sites in Germany, Poland, Brazil, and the US. (HO)
