A meeting of three member delegation of Tika, Faisalabad Garments City chairman Rehan Naseem Bharara with Tevta chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was held at Tevta Secretariat, Lahore.
“The international level training will be beneficial for the youth to get better job opportunities in the national and international market,” said Sheikh.
Tevta and Faisalabad Garment City will collaborate in providing much needed technical and vocational skills to the unemployed youth. Sheikh termed Faisalabad Garment City a step in the right direction with regard to addressing unemployment.
Sheikh in his address said Tevta has successfully completed the first and second phases of the programme. The third phase will commence on February 22 in which 46 short courses would be offered to another badge of 20,000 trainees. (NA)
