VPW named global licensee for Volkl Performance Wear

VPW GmbH has been named as the new global licensee for Germany based Volkl Performance Wear label. Under the terms of the agreement, VPW, also a German based company will develop, produce and market snowboard garments and skis under the Volkl Performance Wear label. With this deal, VPW has also cleared the path for its entry into the apparel segment.
In recent years, Volkl Performance Wear has developed into a coveted brand for teams, ski clubs and snow professionals.
"The strong all-round feedback from the demanding customer segments that we serve, forms a good basis for even stronger growth at specialty stores,” Robert Schlagenhauf, the newly appointed managing director at VPW noted. “This also includes ongoing expansion of our existing strategic partnerships with Toray and 3M."
