Japan : ANFA executes changes in management structure

Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association (ANFA) recently appointed important officers during a meeting held at Shanghai on October 24.
It was decided at the meeting that Mr Kanai Hiroaki Chairman of ANFA (Kanai Juyo Kougyo Co., Ltd. ANNA Chairman) would continue to hold his office till 2009. Additionally, the following Vice Chairmans Mr Wang Yan-Xi (CNTA Science & Technology Co, Ltd. CNTA Chairman), Mr Huang Chin San (Nan Liu Enterprise Co., Ltd. TNFIA Chairman) and Mr Kim Hyun Joo (Sam Shin Bong Jick Co., Ltd. KNIC Honorary – Chairman) will also retain their portfolios.
The decision was taken as a result of an amendment resolution to prolong the tenure of offices. The new tenure is scheduled to run from January 1 2007 to December 2009 and will apply to other offices like Mr Takenaka Yasuo, Auditor (Tapyrus Co, Ltd. ANNA Vice-chairman), Mr Wang Yan-Xi (CNTA Science & Technology Co, Ltd. CNTA Chairman) Secretary-general and Mr Tsuchiya Hideo (ANNA Secretary-general).
ANFA aims to take a more important role towards expanding the growth of the non-woven business for the benefit of all members of the global industry. Membership in ANFA is open to any corporation or individual which or who is engaged in the non-woven related industries and whose place of business is located in Asia.
