The British Retail Consortium (BRC) is the lead trade association representing the whole range of retailers, from the large multiples and department stores through to independents, selling a wide selection of products through centre of town, out of town, rural and virtual stores.
Retail is one of the UK success stories, but currently faces a challenging trading and regulatory environment. Our aim is to bring about policy and regulatory changes that will ensure retailers can maintain their outstanding record on product innovation, job creation and consumer choice.
