Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2006 has wrapped up its sixth annual trade event with rave reviews and strong sales. The company latest venture, Air New Zealand Fashion Week 4 U also proved a real winner with crowds flocking to the venue to enjoy a unique day of fashion and entertainment.
The decision to stage the collections a month earlier than usual, and up against London Fashion Week has paid off for both designers and the organisers, on and off the catwalk with plenty of buyer interest and many orders taken and deals done on the spot.
Six hundred media, buyers and VIP delegates descended on the Viaduct Harbour Marine Village to view the Winter 2007 collections with around 48 labels featured throughout the week (18th 23rd September 2006.)
The event is the culmination of a year round business focused on growing New Zealand fashion export credentials and serving the best interests of every aspect of the fashion industry.
