
The International Oeko-Tex Association, a grouping of 14 well-known textile research and test institutes in Europe and Japan, with representative agencies and contact offices in over 30 countries worldwide, is responsible for the independent tests for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
Based on their individual core competences, the Oeko-Tex member institutes with their broad and varied range of activities, provide significant impetus for innovations within the textile and clothing industry.
Together with the manufacturers, they also contribute to a large extent to the development of high quality textile products at all stages of production with their testing system.
