SDC Colour Management of Textiles Diploma comes to LCF
    August 08, 2009 (UK)

London College of Fashion (LCF), in collaboration with the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), is pleased to announce the launch of four new training modules which contribute towards the SDC Colour Management of Textiles Diploma.

The training, which will be undertaken at LCF’s Oxford Circus building, is the first time the SDC has worked in partnership to deliver UK-based training.

The modules, which are suitable for specifiers, buyers, garment technologists, and anyone who ensures colour is consistent from design to final garment, will lead students through the process of colour management in the supply chain to ensure customers achieve the ‘right colour’.

The introduction of the diploma to LCF’s Signature training portfolio allows trainees to study for their Diploma in London, thus making the qualification more accessible to the UK’s fashion industry.

Students who successfully complete all four modules will receive an SDC Certificate of Colour Management of Textiles; additionally, the diploma is gained upon successful completion of a dissertation.
