Chamber explores Breaking Barriers to Nanotechnology

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce National Chamber Foundation will host a forum titled “Breaking the Barriers: The BIG Business of Nanotechnology” on Tuesday, November 13 at U.S. Chamber Headquarters.
The symposium will be held to discuss the major barriers of nanotechnology commercialization. Panelists will address the regulatory climate within the industry, the disadvantages to overregulation, the importance of consumer education programs, and the potential impact on American jobs in the U.S. science and healthcare industries.
The term “nanotechnology” refers to a specific technology practice whose focus is the manipulation of matter at the molecular level, where unique phenomena enable novel applications.
