Victoria PLC appoints Michael Scott as group finance director

Victoria PLC, international manufacturer and distributor of contemporary carpets and other floorcoverings, has appointed Michael Scott as group finance director and as a director of Victoria PLC, both with immediate effect.
Scott joins after eight years at Rothschild where, as part of their global financial advisory business, he worked across a wide range of public and private company transactions, mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity-¬related fund raisings. He qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds an engineering degree from the University of Cambridge, according to a press release.
Geoff Wilding, executive chairman of Victoria PLC said, “After a comprehensive search, we are delighted to announce the appointment of such a strong candidate in Michael Scott to Victoria. He brings a wealth of very relevant experience that will be highly beneficial as we continue to execute our strategy of both organic and acquisitive growth.” (GK)
