The company, founded by Julie Wartell, was created to offer new parents original, customized, collectible items to commemorate baby's birth and life, as well as to be passed down to future generations as cherished heirlooms.
"I conceived the idea for 9 Stork Avenue while pregnant with my daughter, Amelia," said Wartell.
"It was frustrating to surf from site to site and find the same products offered over and over again. I was desperate to find unique items -- so I decided to take matters into my own hands and created 9 Stork Avenue," she said.
