Americhem appoints John Deignan as President

Americhem Inc., a global provider of custom color and additive solutions, announced the appointment of John M. Deignan as president.

“We’re pleased to welcome John’s experience and leadership to Americhem,” said Rick Juve, CEO. “In his new role, he will lead the day-to-day operations of the company and foster Americhem’s strategic relationships with customers. His background and strengths in a variety of commercial roles will serve as a solid foundation to assist Americhem in achieving its plans for global growth.”

Deignan most recently served as chief marketing officer for Diebold, Incorporated, a global provider of innovative solutions for the banking and security services industries. During his 21-year career at Diebold, Deignan served in multiple leadership roles, including vice president of sales in North America, as well as managing director, Canada, and managing director, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Marquette University and a Master of Science in international business from Roosevelt University.

Deignan is active in the community, serving on the boards of Youth Opportunities Unlimited as well as The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. He will be based at Americhem’s Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, headquarters and will work closely with Americhem leadership in all global regions.
