Apranga retail chain turnover goes up

The retail turnover (including VAT) of the leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga Group has made LTL 44.7 million (EUR 13.0 million) in December 2007, or 39.4% more than in December 2006.

In 2007 the retail chain turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group totalled LTL 437.4 million (EUR 126.7 million), or 46.1% more than in 2006. This is 5.4% more than initial and 0.6% more than updated retail merchandise turnover plan.

The growth rate of turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has exceeded 44% mark 4th year in a row. The LTL 138 million (EUR 40 million) increase of turnover in 2007 has exceeded the whole yearly Apranga Group turnover 3 years ago (the turnover in 2004 was LTL 136.6 million (EUR 39.6 million)).

The retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania has reached LTL 288.5 million (EUR 83.6 million), or 45.6% more than in 2006.

In 2007 the retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in foreign markets increased form LTL 101.2 million (EUR 29.3 million) to LTL 148.8 million (EUR 43.1 million), or by 47.1% comparing to 2006. The foreign turnover share comprised 34.1% of the total Group's turnover.

The retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in Latvia has reached LTL 110.2 million (EUR 31.9 million) in 2007, increasing even by 55.8%. Latvian market comprised 25.2% of the total turnover of Apranga Group.

The retail chain turnover of Apranga Group in Estonia has reached LTL 38.6 million (EUR 11.2 million) in 2007, or 26.7% more than in 2006.
