Ebony Retail Holdings gets ISO 9001: 2000 Certification

Leading fashion and lifestyle retailer, Ebony Retail Holdings, has been awarded the ISO certification.
The coveted ISO 9001:2000 certification has been conferred to Ebony after assessing its process efficiencies through various stages of buying and merchandising, warehousing, HR, F&A, marketing and retailing of various branded and customized merchandize from the company's South Extension store in New Delhi.
The development has brought to light a new phase in the Indian Retail Industry where retailers are now coming forward for ISO certification.
Until recently, ISO certification was a subject matter of interest mainly for manufacturers and export houses. This also marks a renewed focus of Ebony on managing its services in a better manner.
Expressing his happiness on getting the ISO Certification, Mr. Lalit Kumar, CEO and Director, Ebony Retail Holdings said, “The ISO 9001:2000 certification validates the stringent quality procedures followed at Ebony. We, at Ebony, have set a few Quality Objectives for ourselves, which includes customer satisfaction, pleasant ambience, human resource development and steady & profitable business growth. Over the years we have strived to provide Indian customers with world class retailing experience along with excellent products”.
“The systems we now have in place ensure predictability of each outcome, to the desired high quality standard. This enables our objectives of expanding our relationships with existing vendors, customers and broadening our customer base”, he added.
