Finnish Fair to hold NTNE2007 nanotech Conf on 27-29 March '07

The success of NTNE2006 was strongly based on its ability to combine world-leading research to business development and strategy. The congress included presentations from more than 80 top scientists and representatives of leading innovative companies, as well as funding agencies and investors. The main event partners of NTNE2006 were Nokia, the Nordic Innovation Center, Tekes, Veeco Instruments, FEI Company and Obducat.

Keynote speakers at past NTNE events include respected scientists such as Nobel Laureate Alan J. Heeger, and Sumio Iijima, one of the field's pioneers and a prospective future Nobel price winner as well. Prominent corporate speakers have included representatives of large international companies such as Bob Iannucci, head of Nokia Research Center, and Jukka Kivinen, Vice President of UPM New Ventures. Public sector speakers have included high-level European Commission representatives such as Commissioner Janez Potocnik and Unit Head Nicholas Hartley.
