GARDEUR GmbH launched g design Womenswear Collection Spring/Summer 2013.

g design means fashionably progressive trousers with a perfect fit:

- g design stands for confident and authentic trouser design.

- g design reflects the spirit of our time and international trends.

- g design means hip silhouettes.

- G design stands for the highest quality.

Looks: Casual with a touch of glamour – this is the g design Womenswear Collection for

Spring/Summer 2013. The collection cleverly dovetails funky style clashes: genuine leather combined with cotton silk, roughly washed denims with sequinned galloons and neon with natural colours.

Colour scheme and designs: Black & White is a recurring theme throughout the collection – sometimes sporty and sometimes preppy. Campari red adds a burst of freshness. Batik wash and prints with batik effects are reminiscent of the 90s. A fashionable note is added by threads of embroidery in garish neon orange. Other important elements are natural colours such as ecru, off-white, powdery grey and olive.

Trends:

Patches – the up-and-coming “in” look: Set in an open hem frame, ecru and white casually complement one another within the patchwork. Yet although the unstitched hems appear casual, the effect is far from careless. Rather, they add a new twist to the vintage look. There’s a special air of refinement about the python patches.

Denim – from destroyed to shiny: Welcome back – the denim colours of the 90s are en vogue again with their stylish washes. The new batik pants inspire you with fresh enthusiasm for a rock glam style. The batik jeans in their loud Campari red are a must-have, shining forth powerfully in combination with plain basics. Destroyed denims are set to be perennial favourites throughout the summer. They are now being presented as denim chinos with shiny sequinned galloons and with a cool glam contrast. Another enjoyable feature is the elaborate cord embroidery in a fade-out look – all in a Western rodeo style.

And a shiny effect will transform jeans yet again into those perfect after-sunset garments, presented by g design, for instance, as partly silver-coated white denims.

Opposites attract: g design brings together opposites and creates new harmonies. Camping style, yet sexy! This style comes in the form of casual cotton cargo pants, with baggy pockets, genuine leather details and an excitingly feminine hem. Genuine leather – there’s more to it: This time it comes combined with flowing materials, adding up to a funky stylistic breach. Another beautiful highlight is the progressive neon embroidery, set in an elegantly silky mix of neutral colours.

Black & White – a mega trend: Urban, almost futuristic: this is the effect of a white flared jogging style with black contrasting galloons, while a tight and sporty effect is created by black & white denims in an authentic batik wash. Maxizippers on graphic black & white print provide a striking detail on cropped pencil pants. The slim-fit Cigarette pants are straightforward and deliberate in character, ironed with a characteristic crease and a contrasting round slit.
