Haggar Clothing is US' top selling dress pant brand: NPD

Haggar Clothing is the America’s number one-selling dress pant brand, according to NPD Group's Retail Tracking Service. Haggar's E-CLOTM Dress Pant has been America's number one-selling dress pant style for eight consecutive quarters, while its Premium No Iron Khaki has been the number one-selling casual pant style for four consecutive quarters.

"Our number one brand ranking reflects a commitment that Haggar has honoured for nearly a century -- to craft exceptional quality clothing, with unique comfort features, at a tremendous value," said Haggar chief executive officer Michael Stitt. "Innovation is the driving force behind our success. We continually elevate our designs through technologies that include state-of-the-art fabrics and comfort features that our customers have come to expect from Haggar."

NPD's information also identified Haggar, one of the most recognised menswear apparel brands in America, as the number one-selling golf pant brand in its third-quarter rankings for 2017. Haggar's Cool 18 Pro pant offers performance features such as moisture-wicking, UPF sun protection, shirt gripper technology, hidden comfort waistbands and lightweight, four-way stretch fabrics that make it ideal on and off the course.

The clothier's premium-quality J.M. Haggar suit separates moved up to number four in NPD rankings in Q3 2017.

"Our seventh consecutive quarter of market share gains comes as we are experiencing our best holiday selling season in several years," Stitt added. "Our premium pants and suits have broad appeal in fits that range from slim to classic to big and tall, which make them popular holiday gifts for dads, sons and husbands alike." (SV)
