ISPO Munich 2016 will be held from January 24 to 27, 2016 and this time, will feature a new distribution of the various exhibit halls.

A press release from the organisers stated that the revised structure will provide trade show visitors with an even more efficient and improved overview of important trends and developments.

“The modification takes current and future market changes into account and strengthens growth topics like Health & Fitness in context with established sports and outdoor segments,” ISPO Munich said.

“Moreover, new neighbouring space allocations create additional potential for further growth and room for new, segment-overlapping synergies,” it added.

“After six years of unchanged exhibit hall layout, ISPO Munich has initiated several restructuring measures beginning in 2016,” CEO Klaus Dittrich said.

“As a multi-segment exhibition, ISPO Munich has to be not just a reflection of the industry, but also call attention to new business potential,” Dittrich explained.

“Despite the challenges we face, while re-distributing exhibits in eleven of the overall sixteen halls, we are convinced that the new changes will create synergies between already established segments,” he noted.

Visitors will also be able to benefit from these future changes as improved walking distances will create the option to plan the trade show visit even more efficiently.

“Beginning in 2016 the growth topic of Health & Fitness will have even more room for exciting innovations in hall B4,” it explained.

“At the same time, the close proximity to the Performance segment in hall C4 ensures more efficient visitor guidance and product orientation,” the organisers observed.

“Due to moving into halls B5, B6 and A6 the Action Sports segment will be accessible via the dedicated East Entrance, which will also host unique and segment-oriented events,” they informed.

The Outdoor segment moves into halls A1 through A3, and is directly connected to the Ski Community, which will remain in halls A4 and A5.

The Sourcing suppliers will now present their new products in halls C1 and C2, and Textrends exhibitors will display their innovations in hall C3.

ISPO Vision will remain in hall B1 and the Sportstyle segment will return to its customary spaces in halls B2 and B3. (AR)
