Louis Vuitton Malletier SA, the French company that is part of LVMH, the world's leading luxury products group, and DVS Shoe Company Inc doing business as Podium Distribution, a U.S. clothing company (with a line of business that includes skateboards, footwear and sweatshirts) are pleased to announce they have resolved the matter between them regarding the alleged infringement of Louis Vuitton's registered trademarks and copyrights for sandals, slip-on shoes, athletic shoes, t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and graphic kits.

Louis Vuitton is the owner of the Toile Monogram and Multicolore trademarks as shown. Louis Vuitton's Multicolore mark (the traditional Toile mark combined with the 33 Murakami colors) is original and inherently distinctive. The Toile pattern, on which it is based, has been a famous indicator of Louis Vuitton for over a century.

DVS has acknowledged Louis Vuitton's intellectual property rights and has agreed to discontinue all manufacture, exportation, importation, distribution, advertising and marketing of said products.
