International Apparel Sourcing Show to have 19 seminars

Co-located with the International Apparel Sourcing Show, which begins this month from July 21, a seminar series will offer 19 complimentary educational seminars throughout the three day event.
The summer edition seminar series organised by Lenzing Fibers Inc, will focus on 2016/2017 trends for Autumn/Winter, sourcing techniques and how to start a successful business in the fashion industry.
The July edition of the bi-annual International Apparel Sourcing Show will see 237 exhibitors from 13 countries will offer a dedicated sourcing marketplace to find the best apparel manufacturers.
“Lenzing is pleased to sponsor the Seminar Series for the International Apparel Sourcing Show,” Tricia Carey, director business development apparel–denim at Lenzing Fibers said.
“These seminars provide the market with pertinent information on sourcing, trends, sustainability and business development,” she added.
“With a multitude of factors impacting the textile industry, there needs to be a platform to provide the latest market information and the seminar series provides this platform,” Carey remarked.
Kristy Meade, group show director of Messe Frankfurt USA said, “The seminar program is an invaluable resource for visitors to gain knowledge about the state of the industry.”
“It provides up-to-date information on colour trends, up and coming technology, sustainable sourcing and the return of domestic manufacturing,” Meade observed.
The series will host seminar topics like ‘Retail Trends To Watch’, ‘How To Start A Fashion Line’, ‘Made in NYC’ and other interesting topics. (AR)
