My Vintage Baby, Inc., a public children's apparel company, announced that it has been “Idolized.”
Casey James, the talented artist from Ft. Worth, Texas, sang his heart out this week on American Idol as one of the final three contestants singing for the final two spots.
As Casey sang Tuesday night, his cousins, also of Ft. Worth, cheered him on with their “My Vintage Baby hearts Casey James” signs as they sat in the audience wearing My Vintage Baby apparel. The cameras chose to hit that several times.
Wednesday was results night. As Casey sang his final song on American Idol, he swooped up his young cousin and held her tight as he sang “Daughters.” The young cousin was in awe of Casey and was making quite a statement herself.
A fashion statement that is. His cousin Lyndi Poynter of Fort Worth Texas was stylishly dressed in My Vintage Baby's two piece Summer Days outfit and captured the hearts of America.
“We were honored and excited to see Casey's cousin wearing My Vintage Baby's Summer Days outfit on American Idol! Fans were sending messages and chatting on the Internet following the show about the little girl -- wondering who she was and what she was wearing!” said National Sales Director Jana Champagne. “As soon as they learned she was wearing My Vintage Baby, fans were ordering the outfit, so their daughter could make the same fashion statement.”
