Online retailer Odimo's Q1 sales drop 18.8%

Odimo Incorporated, an online retailer that offers brand name watches and luxury goods through two websites (ashford.com and worldofwatches.com), announced financial results for first quarter ended March 31, 2006.

For The First Quarter ended March 31, 2006

- Net sales decreased 18.8 percent to $10.4 million, as compared to $12.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2005;

- Number of orders declined 17.9 percent to 29,624, as compared to 36,081 in the first quarter of fiscal 2005;

- Net loss attributable to common stockholders was $3.8 million, or $(0.53) per share on 7,162,000 shares, as compared to a net loss attributable to common stockholders of $2.7 million, or $(0.97) per share on 3,677,000 shares.
