OH Logistics buys out Barthco, Freightek & Turbo Logistics

Ozburn-Hessey Logistics announced the acquisitions of Barthco International, Freightek, Inc. and Turbo Logistics. Barthco provides international freight forwarding and customs brokerage, Freightek develops, supports and markets international trade software for broker/forwarder operations and Turbo is a transportation broker and solutions provider.
The companies are known for their excellent customer service and thus have an impressive roster of clients. Company executives cited increased service offerings and end-to-end visibility for clients and prospects as well as a solid cultural fit as benefits of the acquisitions. The newly acquired companies will operate as divisions of OH Logistics and will retain their existing management structures. Barthco has over 700 associates and Turbo currently employs approximately 140 people. OH Logistics expects all current employees to remain with the company.
