Italy : Prada gives collection a spongy look

Yesterday, Miuccia Prada presented women’s wear collection that looked like sponge cloths, black plastic and insulation foam.
Her models were dressed in knee length tight sheath of foam-like fabric. She also included spontex sponge cloth-effect tops in colour of acid green or black along with short skirts of same fabric in shades of black or robin’s egg blue.
Shiny black plastic was stripped into inch-wide attire for glossy cow’s back look on a costume and to provide flirty yoke to an orange skirt.
She also introduced black wool couture in swing-back coats and dresses.
Her innovative collection was similar to the theme of Giorgio Armani’s show that took place on Monday. | | |
