 Sarin Technologies, a world leader in supplying technological tools to the diamond industry, is launching a new rough planning machine which has been developed specifically for planning small goods, and therefore is aimed primarily at the crucial Indian market.
Sarin believes that since India polishes the vast majority of the world’s smaller diamonds, it is a natural market for the DiaExpert Nano machine.
The DiaExpert Nano marks the stone with a laser according to a selected recommendation provided by Advisor, Sarin’s advanced software for computerized mapping and planning of rough diamonds.
This prevents discrepancies between the planning stage and the diamond production process. The machine uses a highly sophisticated laser scanner in order to map grooves, holes, and any other concave areas on the rough diamond surface.
The DiaExpert Nano has the capacity to analyze different types of rough diamonds at all stages of planning, mapping and marking, from 1 to approximately 40 points in size with great precision.
In addition, the equipment enables manufacturing plants to achieve high productivity, processing up to 400 stones per 8 hours shift, around 50 stones per hour.
