Shima Seiki to partake in three Brazilian trade shows

Japanese computerised knitting machine manufacturer Shima Seiki together with its Brazilian representative, Brastema Tecnologia is participating in the 13th Tech Fashion shows.
“The Tech Fashion shows are a series of private exhibitions held in three locations in Brazil in June and July,” a Shima Seiki press release informed.
The first show will be held in Águas de Lindóia on June 24, 2015, the second in Caxias do Sul on July 2 and the third in Blumenau on July 9.
According to Shima Seiki, the exhibitions will be a showcase for the company’s latest selection of computerised flat knitting machines.
The machines to be exhibited include from a new version of its flagship MACH2X series Wholegarment knitting machine with SlideNeedles mounted on four needlebeds to the MACH2S Wholegarment knitting machine.
Also on display will be the SVR workhorse machine and the SCG coarse gauge machine, as well as the new SRY machine with loop pressers that produce unique knitwear with woven textures.
“Machine models to be exhibited will vary depending on the location of the exhibition,” the Japanese knitting machine producer said.
Demonstrations will also be performed on the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system that is at the core of the company’s “Total Knitting System” concept.
The APEX3 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from yarn development, product planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.
“Especially effective is APEX3’s capability to improve on the planning process with virtual sampling,” it added.
“Photo-realistic simulation capability minimises the need for sample-making, effectively reducing time, material and cost from the sampling process,” Shima Seiki observed. (AR)
