Tanatex to display textile solutions at TechTextil

Tanatex, the company which develops innovative textile processing solutions from pre-treatment to finishing, will display six textile solutions which help combine functionality with style and comfort at TechTextil International Trade Fair in Frankfurt during May 9-12, 2017. The solutions to be showcased belong to the categories of tailormade solutions, performance improvers, pure performance, storm fit, insect proof and Qi-tex.

The pure performance concept of the company improves stretch, elasticity, durability and shape recovery of the fabric by forming a permanent and durable film around the fibre while its storm fit technology allows transporting sweat and high body temperatures without compromising the water-and wind-resistant qualities of textiles. "This way, users stay dry and comfortable under extreme weather conditions," it said.

Under the insect proof concept, the company has developed a finish containing permethrin that keeps away everything that bites, stings or even buzzes. This finish can be added to any type of clothing, from fishing garment to army uniform.

The Qi-tex finish contains minerals that boost the wearer's energy level, resulting in better balance and movements. "The solution turns your textiles into performance optimisers - whether you add them to adaptive clothing for elderly people or to sportswear," according to the company. (SV)
