Miss Universe Brazil Pageant with Fashion Perfect 3D

Arthur Caliman, of Sao Paulo, Brazil specializes in creating and producing costumes for special occasions, including bridal, party, and pageant gowns. In order to offer custom garments to a wider audience, he has introduced Fashion Perfect 3D, which features the NX-16 3D body scanning system developed by [TC]².

His latest efforts center around the Miss Brazil portion of the Miss Universe Pageant, which will be held in Sao Paulo on September 12th. For all 26 Brazilian contestants, Caliman has created a variety of gowns, in a wide range of colors and styles, leaving the final selection to the contestant. The choice of dress has to do with the body type of models, skin tone and one that will enhance her personality. All are fit with the contestants' 3D body scan.

In addition to creating gowns for this ceremony, Caliman will also be responsible for creating each piece the winner will wear for the Miss Universe pageant official duties while representing Brazil. "There are more than 100 occasions, ranging from sports to cultural events," Caliman commented. He added that the importance of having the sizing data of Miss Brazil is especially beneficial in the event that she is not in the country and another wardrobe piece is needed for her to use for an international commitment.
