There is a growing market demand for specialist high quality, high performance fabrics, observed Arville, which participated at the Techtextil show in Frankfurt. Arville’s team of technical textiles specialists is now busy dealing with varied customer requirements for complex technical fabrics that emerged during the show which concluded on May 12, 2017.

More than 47,500 visitors from 114 countries came to the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre during May 9-12, 2017 and 96 per cent of Techtextil attendees said they were pleased with the results of their visit. The event will return in 2019.

“Our stand attracted a record number of enquiries at the exhibition, from organisations across Europe including Germany, France, Italy and Turkey to name just a few. Attentions have already turned to dealing with the varied customer requirements for complex technical fabrics that emerged during the show,” the company said.

The company said there was a growing market demand for specialist high quality, high performance fabrics that push new boundaries when it comes to durability, strength, chemical/heat/flame resistance, lightweighting and cost-reduction. “Our customers recognise that we are well-equipped with the right expertise and knowledge to bring these technically difficult materials to life,” it said.

Enquiries on the stand covered a wide mixture of end applications ranging from protective clothing and equipment, reinforcements for rubber processing, military vehicle interior fit-outs, high pressure/temperature pharmaceutical filtration and many, many others.

Some visitors had very specific weaving, coating or fabrication requirements, whereas others were delighted to discover that Arville could offer an integrated end-to-end solution across all of those manufacturing aspects, the company said. (SV)
