Surendra Agarwal as Vishal Retail Director

Vishal Retail Ltd has informed that the members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 19, 2007, inter alia, have passed the following:
1. Adoption of the Audited Profit and Loss account for the year ended March 31, 2007 and the Balance Sheet as at that date together with the Report of the Board of Directors and the Auditors.
2. Re-appointment of Mr. Surendra Kumar Agarwal, as Director of the Company.
3. Re-appointment of M/s Haribhakti & Co, Chartered Accountants as the Statutory Auditors of the Company and the power of fixation of remuneration was delegated to the Chairman of the Company to be decided later.
4. Appointment of Mr. Jai Prakash Shukla & Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal as Directors of the Company.
5. Approval for granting of Employees Stock Options under the provisions of Section 81 of the Companies Act, 1956, and SEBI (Employee Stock Option Scheme and Employee Stock Purchase Scheme) Guidelines, 1999.
